Janet Sue Miller Robertson

Janet Sue Miller Robertson, 62, of Louisa, KY, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Dock’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Kenova, WV, by Rev. George F. Watts and Rev. Rick Glass. Burial will follow at the Robertson Cemetery, Genoa, WV. She was born November 24, 1948 in Mingo County, WV, a daughter of the late Theodore Jackson and Thelma Victoria Hess Miller. A brother, Billy Joe Miller also preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Rev. Gary L. Robertson; two daughters, Janettea Lynn Robinson Fortner and fiancee`, Tracy Spry of East Lynn, WV and Tonya Sue Robinson Harmon and husband, Matthew of Wichita Falls, TX; a son, Gary P. Robertson and fiancé, Heather Tackett of Louisa, KY; two sisters, Ruth Ann Brown and husband, Doug of Bradenton, FL, and Peggy L. Farley and husband, Bill of Pioneer, OH; nine grandchildren, Andrew (Tyler) Robinson, Mickayla Fortner and Kiara Fortner of East Lynn, WV, Sidney Davis of Lavalette, WV, Tristian Robertson and Callie Robertson of Louisa, KY, Nancie Harmon, Bethany Harmon and Deana Harmon, all of Texas. She had one very special little boy that they shared an equal love with each other, Shane Michael Blair. Janet was a dedicated pastor/preachers wife serving with her husband wherever GOD took them. She was a member of the Dock’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Kenova, WV. Janet was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family and church family with all her heart. Even though she has lost her battle to Multiple Myeloma cancer, she has won the victory of eternal life. Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV and two hours prior to the funeral at the church. A special heartfelt appreciation is extended to hospice nurses Phillis Simms and Marissa Cote. Pallbearers will be Andrew Robinson, David Bragg, Johnny Bragg, Robert Bragg, Jerry Robertson, Mathew Kincaid, Charles (Richard) Robertson and Charles (Ronnie) Robertson.
