Loval Gene Marshall, 66, of Wayne, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV, by Rev. Otis Bowens. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery at Wayne. He was born March 20, 1946 at Wayne, a son of the late Paris and Violet McSweeney Marshall. He was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include a daughter, Shana Marshall (Michael) of Catlettsburg, KY; two sons, Edward Marshall and wife, Tina of Huntington, WV, and Loval Gerald Marshall of Catlettsburg, KY; two sisters, Edith Stephens (Paul) of Wayne, WV, and Emma Maynard (Pete) of Lavalette, WV; a brother, Paul F. Marshall (Rethil) of Wayne, WV; and eight grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Halie, Matthew Ryan, Katelyn Nicole, Madison, Megan and Bryson Marshall.
