Judy Gayle Messer 51, of Lavalette, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 11, 1960 in Williamson, WV, a daughter of Oscar and Martha Copley of Crum, WV. Judy was a homemaker, a devoted Momaw and a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Beldon and Daisy Mullins, her paternal grandparents, Monroe and Luetisha Copley and an infant brother, Buddy Copley. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of thirty-three years, Willie Messer; her only child, Marsha Ann McCallister and husband, Steve of Lavalette, WV; her amazing granddaughter, Kiera Reann McCallister (Momaw’s Princess); two wonderful brothers, Byrd Copley and wife, Connie of Elkhorn City, KY, Oscar Copley and wife, Brenda of Beauty, KY; her beloved sister, Addie Mae Likens and husband, Bill of Dunlow, WV; several nieces, nephews and a host of caring family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors Ray Williamson and Phillip Williamson. Burial will follow at Judy’s Family Cemetery.
